Trip To Iowa

I just got in the US when we traveled to Iowa to attend the wedding of Wayne, hubby's oldest son. I still remember, September 2003 when I got my US visa. My hubby was so excited because he wanted to attend the wedding of Wayne in Iowa. We went to Manila and bought our tickets there. Hubby and I arrived in Texas September 30, 2003. Three days after, we traveled by car to Iowa to attend the wedding. I was excited to see the states that we passed by like Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. It was a long trip, 15 hours on the road. Hubby and I went with Shelly, Robert and Josh. Robert was the driver. We left Texas very early in the morning and we reached our destination around past seven in the evening. That was my first time to travel that far by car.

Wayne and Melissa's wedding was held at Vander Veer Botanical Garden in Davenport, Iowa the next day. The reception was in a restaurant in Moline, Illinois. We crossed the Mississippi River and after the reception, we went to take photos at the Mississippi River. We spent 2 nights in Iowa and went back home tired of the long trip.

My New Blog Has PR

It's been a while since the last time I updated this blog of mine and also my other blogs. I've been caught up with all the packing and moving to the Philippines. Finally we're here in my native land for 1 week already and we'll be here for a while. I thanked God for making it possible for us to come here. He answered our prayers and I can't thank Him enough. You're so good and awesome Lord!

When I got the chance to check this blog, I was surprised to see that it has already a PR despite the fact that I haven't updated it for a while and it's only less than a month old. It seems that the high and mighty G is being nice this time. Anyhow, thanks to all my co-bloggers who kept visiting this blog in my absence. I'll make it up to you guys. I'm back now and this time I mean business.
